Has anyone compared Mantis with Test Track Pro from seapine? Mantis seems to work fine, but now we have a manager that would like to by the software above :-?!+#

We used TestTrack prior to switching to Mantis. TestTrack has the 'advantage' of not being free. Beyond that, there was no feature we needed that Mantis does not have.
You need to find out what you are facing - getting a product that meets your needs, or getting what someone wants. Both are real problems, but confusing the two will give you unneeded grief. If the situation allows, see what features the company needs that Mantis does not provide, otherwise (and again, if the situation allows) point out the cost effectiveness of Mantis and the excellent response time for issues that you can get in places like this forum.
