hyperlink in notification emails

Whenever a user enters a note that contains a number, the resulting notification email turns it in to a hyperlink to an issue. It remains as plain text in the actual issue note.

Thus, "...results after 287 iterations..." becomes "...results after[url]http::ourdomainurl/mantis/view.php?id-287[/url] iterations...".

This is getting pretty annoying to my users. Any ideas?
