Problem with the installation - class BC_Timer not found

Hi all,
I just tried to install Mantis 1.1.8.

The installation goes smooth but, after, when I tried to load any page, there is just a blank screen.
Then , I checked Apache log:

PHP Fatal error: Class 'BC_Timer' not found in /var/www/html/proj/tracking/core.php on line 137

My server runs CentOS 5.4, PHP 5.3.1, Apache 2.2.1, MySQL 5.1.41.

Can anybody help me, please?

PHP 5.3 is not a good choice for MantisBt 1.1.x
Try PHP 5.2.x
