new things are often worth to be mentioned, and sometimes good. But the idea of language-dependent forum is not the best idea, concerning mantis right now. The reasons why:
Discussions in a non english or german-forum are useless for me, because I don't understand french and/or russian enough the get any hint there
The board is really not that crowed that there is need for those split
As an add-on, it's not useful, too, because a question in a language-forum won't be transferred to the english-based one, will it?
So in my opinion you should close that foren soon. If there are thousands of active commiters, than you can reopen them.
so obviously those forums aren't for you. But for a russian only speaking person, they may be put off posting in an all english forum. And having a russian one allows to post someplace where they know other people who can read russian can help them out. Not to mention those subforums i believe someone in the mantis admins can speak one of those languages.
