Description

With the release of PHP 8.3 coming in just a few weeks, it would be useful to have our test suites executed on the latest release, to have advance notice of compatibility issues.

Builds should be allowed to fail.

PHP 8.3 builds have now been fixed, but nightly still runs PHP 8.0.

Travis support suggested to specify master instead of nightly; that's better as it runs an 8.4.0-dev version, but that is dated Dec 13 2023 16:01:41 which is already more than a month old (latest php-src master as of this writing is commit ea3c541640a75340ea06c460cf282bde5bf75b13 Jan 24, 2024, 12:02 PM GMT+1)
