| Summary | 0006912: Assign to reporter | ||||
| Description | In case some developer needs more information about some reported issue, he might feel like requesting feedback from the reporter. Alas this seems to be impossible as issues cannot be assigned to users below level developer. --> Would be nice to enable this feature | ||||

I concur, it would be nice to assign feedback if you need more information on the issue. |

I also agree you need to be able to assign to a reporter or at least an updater. Best way to do it is to have it in permissions or something then you can change who shows up. Anyone know if there has been any work on this. We are on 1.0.8 so it may be done as far as I know. |

MusicMonkey5555, even with your outdated version 1.0.8 this should be possible. |

Thanks atrol! |

How would I go about doing this through the UI? We just upgraded to 1.2.4 I went to Workflow Transitions and changed Minimum Access Level to Change to this Status all to updater, but is still doesn't show up to assign an item to an updater. I am guessing there is some setting some place else that is messing this up. Only reason I don't want to change it in a file is if I have to upgrade again and I am assuming anything in the interface will probably transfer when you use the upgrade feature. |
