Again I want show our Mantis of Valentina database

We have MANY projects here. And some of them are not independent.
they are parts of Valentina database Product Line.
For example
KERNEL, VSERVER, V4RB, V4MD, VStudio, VStudio PRO, ...

And we have or may have really independent projects, e.g. for outsourcing tasks.

Now about DREAM. :-)

Right now, I need

• go to Manage -> Projects,
• then go inside of each project,
• for each project ADD version e.g. 4.2 and mark it as unreleased.

After 4.2 release, I will need go again to each project, and mark version as released.

ANNOYING? easy human errors?

What is a dream?

of course I must be able define/modify version only once in single place for the whole product line, and all projects of this product line should automatically see it.

I hope you have catch idea.

if product line as ABSTRACTION is hard for adding into Mantis, may be its possible MODE of installed mantis to consider all projects as a product line? Then we could isntall second mantis on server and move OTHER projects to second.
