Summary | 0010496: Roadmap display for non-queued items
Description | If features are added that have no planned release version they are not shown on the Roadmap when they should show up as 'Future Release' or something like that so that people can see what is in the queue and if they are interested they might then donate to speed it up or whatever. What I would like very much is that if a task is not in the change log then it must be in the roadmap if it is open.

This can be much more easily accomplished as a filter. Especially on this tracker, listing all untargetted issues would produce an absolutely gigantic list. you're much better filtering for target and fixed-in versions of "[none]". |
I realise for this site that the list might not be wanted. But I would like my roadmaps to show what's queued but not actively being worked on. Perhaps an option. The filter is ok for people using my matis itself but I display the roadmap for all users to show what's cooking. |
Jenolan, create a version "Backlog" with version date far into future. Set target version of all untargetted issues to "Backlog" to see them in roadmap. |
OK back after using another BTS. Doing the 'Pending' but the planned version is not available when marking the item 'resolved' so it shows in the wrong version. Need to be able to reset the target version when resolving, well actually shouldn't target be the one that it is being resolved to anyway? |
I don't understand what you mean/want with your last update, please clarify. |
When you use the 'Change Status' to resolve an issue 'Target Version' is not set to the same value as the version you set the issue resolved in. |
In that case, would you agree that your request is a duplicate of 0011551 ? |
Being able to set it as detailed there would help, yes. |
Thanks. I'll resolve this then, and will add you to the monitor list of 0011551 |
