Summary0011936: Saved filters from Mantis 1.1.6 no longer work
Description

After upgrading from Mantis 1.1.6 to 1.2.1, some saved filters no longer work. After selecting the saved filter, the filter fields appear correctly populated, but the list always shows zero issues.

If without touching anything else you then click "Apply Filter", the list is correctly populated with the filtered issues.

Additional Information

I selected the old saved filter, pressed "Apply Filter" again to make it populate the list, and then saved a new filter with the same settings.

I then compared the permalink that is generated by the old and new filter:

Old filter: http://cisplfs2/mantis/home/search.php?project_id=6&status_id=50&sticky_issues=1&sortby=last_updated&dir=DESC

New filter: http://cisplfs2/mantis/home/search.php?project_id=6&status_id=50&sticky_issues=on&sortby=last_updated&dir=DESC&hide_status_id=-2

It's certainly reasonable that the filter API can change between mantis versions, however it's difficult to determine ahead of time whether an existing filter will be broken by the upgrade, which means that they all have to be tested and re-saved again.

Perhaps the upgrade process could rewrite the existing saved filters into the new format?
