Summary	0012700: View status of issues as public/private - can they default differently for Reporters to other users?
Description	I know how to change the default view status of an issue between private and public, but in our application, it would be useful for our customers (reporters) to create issues with Public view status by default, and our staff (always Developers or higher) to Private by default to avoid embarrassment. I can't see a way to do this without hacking bug_report.php - have I missed something? If not it would be great if this option could be added!

atrol 2011-01-18 15:33 developer ~0027990	You can write a plugin for this, so you don't have to change any source code of MantisBT There is a event EVENT_REPORT_BUG_DATA which allows plugins to pre-process bug data.
