Summary0014940: Anonymous checkbox must be selected to finish setup even with HTTP authentication
Description

When creating a task repository definition, using HTTP authentication, it is required to select the anonymous checkbox, otherwise the finish button is not activated.

Technically speaking, I am not performing an anonymous login, I am simply delegating user authentication to the web server.

The expected behaviour should be to activate the finish button when::

  • username and password filled for repository authentication
    OR
  • 'Anonymous' checkbox is selected
    OR
  • 'Enable http authentication' checkbox is selected AND username and password are filled

This is the way the standard validation from Mylyn works. I'll check and see if we do some customisation which we can revert.
