Summary0026666: custom field - DATE_TYPE: need to sort YEAR part descending...
Description

We want to sort the YEAR part descending, starting with current year...
When we report a bug, with a custom field type DATE, year part shows current year on bottom instead of top...
And there is no configuration to set the sorting as DESCENDING...

Steps To Reproduce
  • create a custom field, type DATE
  • assign it to "ALL Projects" or any specific PROJECT
  • report an issue for that PROJECT and enter value for this DATE type

Solutions:

  1. Needed - On Bug Report Page
  2. Preferred - On all DATE fields (filter / edit etc.)
  3. Desired - On Custom Field Definitions - add SORT option
