Description	We’ve been using this functionality since we installed Mantis many years ago. It is wonderful. We recently installed Windows 11 Enterprise, this functionality stopped working and opens up the xml in a text editor. We do not have issue with CSV export but Excel export under view issues function does not load the xml into excel. we have a workaround to change the file type to excel. Any solution is expected from Mantis?

dregad 2024-07-22 10:10 developer ~0069050	Probably the same root cause as described in 0012484, i.e. our use of the obsolete Microsoft Office Excel 2002 and Excel 2003 XML Format. As a workaround, you should be able to open the generated XML file in Excel manually. I'm closing this as duplicate.
