Summary0034958: Imap configuration with Office365 Failed
Description

Hello,
I wanted to configure office365 in imap to create tickets from emails. But when I test my Imap settings, they systematically fail. I have tested with a gmail address setting and it works correctly, I have added an application password to my outlook account and I have tried the connection but it doesn't work. I'm completely blocked on this connection, according to the Microsoft site, it no longer allows applications to connect using simple methods since September 2024, but I can't find out if it's related.

Steps To Reproduce

Select Imap configutration when clicked on Test, and click test

EmailReporting does not support modern authentication.

Somebody created a fork with support for oauth. Maybe that will help.

EmailReporting now supports modern auth. Don't if it matters after 2 years though.
