This is surely related to something I would like to have:

Having the reproducibility field default value to something more "neutral" like 'have not tried' instead of 'always'. Is there a way to configure that?

I've already made the last fixes to this in my work on bug 0010330 (example: projection and ETA fields have a default value set). Default values from the config file should appear as the default options in dropdown boxes.
