Submitting a new issue that is missing a required field causes any data in the Additional Info/Note field to be lost when the error message page is displayed and the user returns to the issue entry field. This can cause a significant amount of data to be lost, requiring the user to manually reenter.

Suggest client side input validiation be performed after the Update button is pushed before the data is sent back to the server. Alternatively, capture and return all data in hidden fields and repopulate the input form is redisplayed.
