Summary0005555: Portability of system
Description

I have setup mantis in windows 2000 professional system and working on it. Now I need to tranfer the working mantis system to windows 2003 server platform. I am facing the document retrieval problem. Whatever the documents that I had uploaded using windows 2000 platform now I am not able to retrieve in 2003 server platform. I think the uploaded documents are in encrypted form and this encription technique is system dependent, so whenever I am trying to open the document encrypted in windows 2000 plateform it`s not able to decrypt it in 2003 server.

Please suggest a solution.

Files that we store are not encrypted in any way.

What storage method are you using? If DISK or FTP, the file names are obfuscated and the mapping is stored in the mantis_bug_file_table entries. If DATABASE, the file is stored after being escaped to protect the data from SQL related characters. For mysql, this means that quotes are escaped with a back-slash ( ' -> \' ).
