| Summary | 0006085: Request to give user the option of using DATE() or GMDATE() as the underlying date function | ||||
| Description | We deal with persons across a few time zones and countries and it is certain that whatever the date format is chosen it will prove cumbersome to someone. With this in mind it would be nice if we could report ALL times and dates using GMT relative dates like Sunday, 06-Nov-2005 08:49:37 GMT. For this to work in addition to the existing format strings (in the configuration) we would need a user choice to use GMDATE() instead of DATE() as the date function. | ||||
