Summary0006241: Use GMT in database -
Description

Was:Fix for bugnotes out of order when ordered on date

We have one DB but two Mantis frontends. The two frontends are in different timezones, so the bugnoted are often the wrong way round as they're ordered by date.

By changing the order to id, the notes are always in the correct order.

Additional Information

Was (seems not to fix a problem but to mask it):

Simple fix. in bugnote_view_inc.php, line 39, change

ORDER BY date_submitted $t_bugnote_order";

to

ORDER BY id $t_bugnote_order";

I think the better solution would be store all times as GMT

I have version 1.1.5 and it seems that this is not yet fixed (let me know if it is true). I think that this (and user timezone settings) are important features.

Since MantisBT 1.2 all dates are internally stored as GMT timestamps.
