Summary | 0000064: user defined fields / projects
Description | It'd be nice to have a number of user defined fields, depending on the project the bug report is for. Idem for users: only give them access to their own projects. I don't know if you're using the cateogry field for this right now.

This is in the works. Multiple projects will be the next big item along with email support.

Will this be like unix users, where there's one great big list of users, and, one user can belong to multiple accounts, or one default account, or something different, where there's a project, and then individual users under each project, eg, john on project foo could be a totally different person from john under project bar? |

Right now it's going to be a list of users that can be part of multiple projects (just like SourceForge). Administrators would be part of all projects. It's the simplest implementation as well. I may consider having a project level admin as well but I'm not so sure how useful it would be. Is there any reason or push to have it the other way that you mentioned? |

The custom fields feature is now implemented in CVS. This will allow you to add your own fields, and link them to projects as appropriate. |
