Summary	0007192: Global Profiles needs custom fields
Description	First off IMHO "Operating System" should be optional since for certain projects, like an embedded application, the user is unaware of the RTOS we are using. In addition, I think that it would be helpful to add custom fields to this screan. I'm not sure how this would be handled from project to project if certain items are do not apply, but it would be nice to have. At the moment, we are using the additional information text box to indicate more details.

We recommend that you upgrade to the latest stable version [1]; if after doing so the problem still exists, do not hesitate to reopen the issue. [1] http://www.mantisbt.org/download.php

atrol 2014-10-10 18:31 developer ~0041547	A profile is a collection of three hardcoded fields at the moment (Platform, OS, OS version) I think that DGtlRift wants to add some more fields to this collection. (maybe something like CPU) I don't like the whole profile concept that much. But that's another story.
