Summary0008244: Pressing the "update" button deletes the "target version" entry
Description

When I view an issue in the extended view and press the "update" button to change or add some information the entry in the "target version" box is set to empty and must be re-selected again.

Steps To Reproduce

Open up an issue in extended view and press "update" button.

This happens since a couple of alpha versions already.

I could not reproduce this behaviour, either setting my personal preferences to show the advanced_update or simple_update page by default.

Hi giallu,

this is EXACTLY my case! All my versions have an ampersand "&".
So please add an relationship of this issue to 0008245 and close this.

Do you see any chance to solve this issue or shall I just replace the & with some other suitable character?
