I'm not familiar with Test Director. What does it mean to take a snapshot of a bug?

I am currently testing a website. There are scenarios in which we can effectively describe a bug by taking snap-shot of the screen but there is no option to do that in mantis.Is there any option to do so?We can upload a file in mantis but that is a very time consuming process, if there would be any option for taking snap-shot, that will make it user friendly too.
