| Summary | 0009057: Request feature | ||||
| Description | It would be very helpful if Mantis had a calendar function in which bugs could be assigned to developers with transaction dates, due dates, release dates, a simplified project schedule, etc. It would also be great to have developers enter their own availability on a calendar (although I can appreciate the reluctance or difficulty with integrating with MS outlook or similar calendaring apps). I use mantis as a tool in project management and a calendar would be a welcome addition (for now, I am using MS project for project schedules, which is like using a hammer to drive a tack, and it isn't web friendly). | ||||

Thats big feature. Probably, with plugin system introduced in ver. 1.2.0 it ownt be too hard to develop. |

There are some project management tools that integrate with Mantis which provide you with some of these features. We are also implementing a due date feature in Mantis. However, managing calendars is outside the scope of Mantis as an issue tracker. http://www.mantisbt.org/wiki/doku.php/mantisbt:related_tools For due date, you can monitor 0008942. |
