| Summary | 0009148: The mc_project_add service seems to be broken | ||||
| Description | We upgraded to Mantis 1.2.0a1 in our test environment and we discovered that the mc_project_add function in the SOAP API seems to be broken. The error seems to come from NuSoap but we are not sure. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | PHP Client code : $wsdl = 'http://localhost/mantis120/api/soap/mantisconnect.php?wsdl'; try $projectData = array('name' => 'youpie 6', $issues = $client->mc_project_add('administrator', 'xxxxxx', $projectData); | ||||

I updated the additional info since it had your password in clear. you may want to change it in your server anyway. |

Damn ! Thanks a lot dude :D ! |
was this working in version 1.1? I had a quick look and I can't see how it could... The failure is because we call is_blank() from utility_api on an array instead of a string, but I can't see anything changed since the SOAP api was imported. |
Yes it works well on a 1.1.1 version. We were a bit disapointed too because we didn't see any change between 1.2.0a1 and 1.1.1 in WSDL Files using Winmerge. I will test it again on a 1.1.1 version and I'll keep you in touch ! |

The code that we provided has been tested again on a 1.1.1 version, and it worked perfectly. Generation time 1.18481302261 :D ! |

Couldn't be this issue tagged as confirmed when you said you did not understand how it could work ? Thanks again for your concern about this bug. |
Sure, though we need to fix it rather than confirm :) |

Hello, From what I can tell, this issue has already been fixed. I've just spent some time 'tidying up' the project add function to be a bit more resilient to problems. Paul |
