I think this is just a different interpretation of how people work with duplicate issues. The way Mantis works, if issue 3 is a duplicate of issue 5, then you would mark 3 a duplicate of 5, then resolve it with a resolution of "duplicate", then close it. From this point forward there is only one open issue for the problem. See the issue history in 0004933 for an example. |
