What do you mean by editor role for a bug? |
Sorry, for being a bit unclear. So i think it would be useful, if person A - who was assigned to a bug - would get an email, when someone else is assigned to that bug. |
I've uploaded two files to mantisbt-dev@lists.sourceforge.net with a possible solution for this issue. |
modified_files.tar.bz2 contains: bug_api.diff Patches are applied. |

What is the status of this request? I would like this extra email sent to the previous 'owner' as well. It is very confusing the read emails about assigned issues which in fact are no longer assigned by me. Is there a fix in the attached file (which is NOT downloadable)? What does xcristi mean by "patches are applied"? To what version? |
Please, can anybod responde to the question? What is the status of this request? The described patch is unfortunately missing but reviewing the commit log exposes that neither bug_api.php nor email_api.php where modified around the 23/24. august 2006. This should be really fixed - i would consider NOT informing the person assigned to the issue when another person self assigns the issue is definitly a bug. |
If the issue is assigned to UserA, and then project manager re-assigned it to UserB. => It is really a bug! |
