yes, this makes sense, the problem is people at my office are always working on latest bugs, and not the most important.

How about making this configurable somehow? We can have the contents of the "order by" clause as part of the configuration for each box to be displayed. I am sure if we change it, some other user will request something different. Also even within the same installation different users or users with different roles may require different sorting. Having this in the configuration will allow per user configuration via the admin in 1.1.x and possible do-it-yourself by the user in future releases.

Well. that is covered elsewhere (for instance 0007840, 0006480, 0006412 etc...) and I agree that's something we should work on.

That said I think we shall decide here what is the "default" sorting on that particular box. If you agree the ordering by priority/date is a reasonable default, I will apply my 4 line patch.

Otherwise, let's close this and move on working on the customizabile My View page.
